苹果起诉三家零售商(Hootoo.com) 称其提供假冒电源适配器

报道显示，被起诉的这三家零售商分别是Brilliant Store、Sunvalleytek International和Hootoo.com。它们通过网站渠道销售适配器和其他配件。苹果公司在呈交给美国加利福尼亚州北部地区法院的起诉文件中称，上述三家公司提供的电源适配器是“垃圾”。
据了解，在这三家零售商网站销售的电源适配器几乎与苹果风格的原装电源适配器一样，但是消费者很有可能被其低廉的价格吸引。以 Hootoo.com为例，它销售一系列可用于MacBook和MacBook Pro电脑的电源适配器，价格仅17美元，而苹果公司在其美国网站上销售的电源适配器价格要高达79美元。尽管目前涉案的一些网站都称它们销售的是原装产品，但是Hootoo却明确表示这些产品是由第三方生产的。因为它的销售宣传单上写着：“全新的替换产品，功能堪与原装媲美，100%能与设备兼容。”
尽管苹果有权起诉三家公司侵犯了它的知识产权，但这一举措又表明苹果打造独有的电源适配器技术品牌的计划不符合最近业内实施一系列“标准化电源适配器”举措的宗旨。
据悉，上周台湾电脑制造商宏碁和华硕对美国电机及电子工程师学会（IEEE）标准化电源适配器的计划施加了一定的压力，该学会希望通过统一变压器和适配器的设计规格来遏制制造商们高价出售电源适配器。
